About Us

Burgess Auctioneers was established in 1957 by Bill Burgess.  It is a family owned business and is now run by three of his sons;  Sim, Will, and John.  Our 5,000 square foot auction barn and 25 acre equipment yard is located 6 miles South of Graham on Farm Road 1287 in Bunger, Texas.  Our auction company is capable to host your auction at our facility or your site.

We have sold Graham Tractor and Farm Supply in Graham, Texas to Tony Hawkins.

We would like to thank all the firefighters who helped us protect our comunnity.  We had many friends and neighbors help us during the fires in Bunger.  Our auction facility and our family home was spared due to efforts of Bear, Clayton, Quinten & Shannon Truesdell, Jack Mahaney, Layne Kramer, Brad Cook, Eddie Williams, Dustin Feighner & Paul Youngblood.  We were blessed with many donations of food and water and supplies from the community of Graham as well.  Those donations enabled us to supply firefighters from surrounding areas who came through our barn to rest, eat and replenish.  I am so proud of Ben and Sim, Will and John as well for protecting our home and forming the Bunger Volunteer Fire Department, if only for a short time. We are grateful!
